The thought of having to carry fifteen stones of knackered Challenger and his rucsac all the way to Derry Lodge filled me with dread!

The Box Brownie thing - one of the (very minor) side effects of my meds is a slight tremor, which means that I never manage pin sharp photos. I hate using flash indoors, and so most of the pictures ended horribly blurred. I spent a lot of time trying to save the ones on here.
Just a thought: You ought to try and cut down the frequency of those tumbles.
:-)Alan Slomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17966543499033330765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22496677.post-48742903827699647392017-09-20T12:02:28.515+01:002017-09-20T12:02:28.515+01:00The Rothiemurchus Forest has to be one of the love...The Rothiemurchus Forest has to be one of the loveliest places I have passed through on the Challenge. As for the Lairig Ghru? Well I'm pleased I experienced it, but that's as far as it goes. Thank you for including it in our route, though, as I now know what it is actually like. And thanks for being so concerned and caring after my little tumble. I make a point of having a tumble on every other Challenge that I take part in. It keeps my walking companions on their toes. And me off mine.

Splendid photos of fellow Challengers at Mar Lodge. You really are rather good with the old Kodak Instamatic.FellBoundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13089687581260477621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22496677.post-85221622043237278392017-08-10T21:30:24.218+01:002017-08-10T21:30:24.218+01:00I've a feeling there may be some duplication h...I've a feeling there may be some duplication here, James.
;-)Alan Slomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17966543499033330765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22496677.post-37958948560491244442017-08-10T21:25:11.464+01:002017-08-10T21:25:11.464+01:00Good show.
