I'm back now though, in the rudest of health once again.
Rannoch Moor is an incredible place - wherever you are, in the middle, the edges or looking down into the colossal bowl - it's awe inspiring. My log notes the splendid views and I was also motivated to take a panorama across Rannoch Moor to the Glencoe hills and all. I recognise that feeling that comes after a few days on a long walk when you have walked yourself in and it is now becoming a way of life. That is one of the pleasures of long distance stuff that you just don't get on day walks. Oh! To be able to play the guitar like Lindsey.
I reckon any walking visitors will have that nostalgic "looking back" photo of Corrour from whichever direction: a welcome oasis that one is more reluctant to leave than many others.Sir Hughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17908756392825206914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22496677.post-74683152980160929112022-06-27T08:17:49.743+01:002022-06-27T08:17:49.743+01:00The three or so miles from Peter’s Rock is a fine ...The three or so miles from Peter’s Rock is a fine walk. Even better if you camp at Corrour Old Lodge which has to be one of the best places I’ve camped. Epic views.
