We needed to get away for a break. I’ll let the pictures tell the story. Many thanks to Lord Elpus for arranging this all at short notice. You can make the pictures bigger if you click on them.
What is all this about? You have been for a sneaky walk and looks like a fantastic wild camp. Nice one Alan. Got the legs warmed up for the Challenge I hope.
Hi. Because of spammers, I moderate all comments, so don't worry if your comment seems to have disappeared; It has been sent to me for approval. As soon as I see it, I'll deal with it straight away. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteThat's more like it, Alan! Fantastic pictures, great setting. Glad you could take your mind off them blasted blades.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Alan...looks like a brilliant wild camp.

Looks like a lot of fun! Wish I could go there!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you getting out and about Alan, Nice pics and wild camp sites.
ReplyDeleteWhat no pictures of Sellafield! It’s one of my fav’s from there.
Looks good! Places like the Lakes and Dartmoor are going to become more crowded as people start to avoid the turbine forests of Scotland.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics, Alan! It's good to get out.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the legs "being warmed up" - but on Monday morning they were complaining like hell!
ReplyDeleteThey need to get out more. I know, I shall send them out tomorrow and when they come back they can tell me where they have been.
I wish I was as Ansel Adams as wot you are. Nice pics, Al that capture the weekend well. Sorry about the legs ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat Stuff Alan, and a rather fine 3 days if I might say so.
ReplyDeleteI have also managed my write up on my blog HERE
Lord Elpus has very kindly supplied a narrative to the weekend. He is good with words, that boy...
ReplyDeleteHe should go far...

You got views! Fab pictures. Tents in the foreground really make a view somehow.
ReplyDeleteI think Andy takes the "Ansel Adams" prize for his moody shot above Ennerdale. However, there's PW's pictures to come yet...
ReplyDeleteBTW, How do you do that "Here" thing in the comments, Andy? That be wizardry, that'd be...
Hi Mark - Yes - I agree, tents do help! It was really helpful having all those colours as well!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lime green one, two dark greens (a bit dismal, dark green), a bright red and a pale blue.
2 x Stephenson Warmlites, & 3 Hilleberg Aktos. All five of us wearing Paramo.
Nice pics! I must sort mine out today.
ReplyDeletePW: Really looking forward to them...
ReplyDeleteWill you be putting them on your blog or your photo site?
