Happy Birthday, Blog

CLICK TO ENLARGE & SHARPEN. GOOGLE ANALYTICS  STARTS AT JULY 2007 - A YEAR AFTER THE START OF THE BLOG

  • Nine years old today. Born 17th October 2006
  • 1,099 blog posts
  • 11,132 comments made by the congregation (and my replies).
  • Most read post? Not a gear post. TGO Challenger 2013 Home page with 10,842 hits
  • According to Blogger (bottom RHS of the blog) 767,732 page views since just July 2010 .

The blog's been a bit quieter since my kidney transplant (June 2013) but it's still a bit of fun that I enjoy immensely. The main reason for this is down to you, the reader, for joining in with your comments. You'll see from the bottom chart that two thirds of the readers are repeat offenders and the remaining third are new to the blog, obviously arriving here and disappearing fast, realising their ghastly mistake.

    1. Ah. There was trifle. I'm afraid it evaporated in the heat of the last day of the test match...

Cake & ice cream later. What time are you round?

    1. Funnily enough, there's no mention of the winner of last year's TGO Blog of the year amongst last year's winners on this year's TGO Awards blurb.
      Wonder why?

    2. I think they're keeping their heads down after last year's debacle.....hoping that it might all go away.

    3. I see the fragrant Sian has moved on to bigger and better things by winning a blog award from Webtogs. Must be those yellow wellies and tales of naughtiness on skiing holidays
