COLD COMFORT

So - I know how dark it's going to be. So that means packing a head torch for the first month or so.

But how cold is it going to get? Do I need to heed my Mum's advice for the last fifty years and finally wear my vest?

Well - with grateful thanks to Mark Moxon (Travel Writer - look him up on Google! - but more of Mark later) - take a look at this site - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/averages/19712000/index.html

You will see that wherever I go thoughout the length of the walk I will have frosty nights, from Cornwall right until I get to the top of Scotland in June. That means the down jacket is coming with me as well as the vest...

So much for Global Warming.
