DARTMOOR: DAY THREE

Martin Rye & I escorted most of the other bloggers off the hills and sent them all on their way, before retiring to Okehampton to luncheon on Sharps Doom Bar & nibbles, having first followed the Two Castles Trail into town.

Then up to the Youth Hostel for ice creams and a dive back up the moor meeting the 2nd Battalion of the Irish Guards on manoeuvres and with a pretty impressive small village of army tents - all very polite chaps who let us pass to camp on a fine hill to the north of Yes Tor.

Weather perfick and about to have some tea!
