TGO Challenge Report: NOW WITH PICTURES!

It's true!

I have remembered how to add pictures to my blog (after a great deal of head-scratching, which is not a good idea for a chap with a thinning pate) and so I have picked out a few from the slide show and put them in at the appropriate places in the blog posts so that they make sense and perhaps add something to the very limited narrative.

So - should you feel the urge - (you do, you do!) you can nip back over the posts of the last two weeks and see the Challenge in technicolour!

Thank you...

  1. Excellent job! They add a certain je ne s'ai pa.

I can see I'm going to have to carry a notepad and pen along with the camera, so I know where I've been and taken what! The list is getting longer not shorter. Pants!

(Yes, I know, them as well...)

  2. Speaking of pants - I am always surprised that the 'ultra-lighters' don't wear the lightest weight pants - surely they should all be wearing thongs? (Iless sq cms of fabric) Lacy thongs indeed! (Less fabric weight / sq cm)

Perhaps we should look at their gear spreadsheets a litle more closely...

  3. I'd heard that they don't wear any!

Anyhoo, that works much better now Alan - helps with the story a lot.

  4. AAAGGGHHH Mike!

    Its those Virtual Pants again!

  5. Nice to see the photos to the tale. Very nice photos as well.

  6. A good friend of mine has been trying to get me to start a new firm marketing: "Mountain Mesh" - which is actually just lace underwear - rebranded for ultralight hiking.

    I don't think she's serious...

  7. It's good that you are in touch with your feminine side, Dave.

Just don't put your real name to the marketing push... 'RedLaceyDave'?

  8. Hmmm... it's catchy...

What about "RedLaceyDave - I'm Luving it"?

It has a ring of familiarity and also somehow with overtones of nausea for some reason...
