Nora Ephron dies

Nora Ephron has died at the age of 71.

“Who?” you may ask.

Nora Ephron was a wonderful screenwriter & director, probably most famous for that wonderful restaurant scene in ‘When Harry met Sally.’ There was also ‘Sleepless in Seattle’, ‘You’ve got mail’, ‘Silkwood’ and one of my favourites, ‘Julie & Julia.’

Here’s the clip that always makes me grin:

  1. A great shame to hear the news. When Harry Met Sally was a brilliant script, Billy Crystal at his best and so much more than its label as a "Rom Com". Must dig it out for a viewing again.

I love the way he asks her if she's ok...

  2. I always fancied Meg Ryan until she was a total muppet on Parkinson.
It was a good film though.

Of course I should have said...

"I always fancied Meg Ryan until I met Lucy :) "

    1. The best bit for me is when she goes straight back to eating her ice cream. Genius.
