THE BOOTS 2

Last Time, I promise:
The boots have now done 203.5 miles prior to setting off at Lands End, so they are nicely broken in.

  1. A survey indicated that hiking boots last on average 1000-1200 miles. You might be ready for a new pair in Oban?

  2. Hi Daryl

I am rather hoping that these Scarpa Nepals will last 1,887 miles (ie half a mile more than the combined pre-walk mileage and the walk itself)

If not, I shall walk the remaining miles barefoot!

Upon arrival at JOG they might have a Viking buriel, sailing off in flames to Valhalla via the North Sea.
